Drift Advanced has you on track for 3 Hours, behind the wheel with coaching from a pro in and out of the car. You will learn to initiate a drift with e-brake and then power slide through a turn, staying in control. You will learn how to maintain donuts, perfecting your throttle control (you actually steer with your throttle). And you will have some ‘you time’ in the car to practice these new skills. Then, when you think it’s all over, you’ll finish with ‘hot laps’ in the passenger seat with a pro driver at full speed, full smoke. Don’t let ‘Advanced’ scare you… all experience levels welcome. Texas Drift Academy is returning to the Dallas–Fort Worth area for another round of classes. We are partnering with GTR Festival to bring one of the top drift schools in the U.S. back to North Texas. All classes will be held at Ennis Motorplex. Last year’s event featured only 12 available spots and sold out several weeks in advance. You will get plenty of practice time to master these techniques, solidifying muscle memory.

Throughout the day, you swap turns executing slides, the perfect donut, and/or a ‘hard park’ (parallel slide into a parking spot). You can photo and film each other and compare your skills.

Then cap the day with hot laps from a pro driver at high speed, for each of you.
