Most people don’t know this drifting secret
It’s called left-foot braking, and if you’re serious about drifting, you need it.
Here’s how it works
While you’re in drift, stay on the throttle…
Then lightly apply some brake with your left foot.
That’s it.
Our students learn this by starting with donuts and gently pressing the foot brake to really feel how the car reacts.
Here’s why it works:
Most cars have around a 70/30 brake bias. So when you press the brake, the front slows more than the rear, which helps the car rotate more, or slow down depending on the situation.
If you are not left foot braking, you are falling behind in your driving
